This is an early 20th century, hand crank "His Master's Voice" gramophone. The transfered decal on the base has rubbed off the original company name beneath the image of Nipper dog listening to the gramophone. That image is based on a painting by Francis Barraud and it was used a by a multitude of companies which produced gramophones; that includes Berliner, Deutchse, Victor, Bluebird, RCA and more. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
