Dear Ilean, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and my sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal. The presented object appears to be a mid-sized painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 35 x 38 1/2 inches. The painting depicts a flower market in a typical Dutch city. We see a "Gracht" or canal transporting ships with Dutch flags and in the background houses and a church. The motif itself refers to the tradition of flower trade and especially the role of the tulip for the Neatherlands. The painting is signed with the name "H. Tripmaker" and this piece was made by Heino TRIPMAKER (1931-1985). His full name is Heino Dietrich Gert Gustav Tripmacker and this German artist mainly depicted typical Dutch scenes like this flower market which he painted numerous times. This piece was made in the third quarter or the Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 400 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, Georg
