Dear Robert, Thank you for your help and patience. The presented object appears to be an Imperial Japanese Arisaka Type 99 bolt action rifle with a bayonet. This rifle was the standard equipment of the Imperial Japanese Army during WWII. This rifle probably came as a trophy after WWII to the US. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 700 to 1.200 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, Gregory
