Hi Ken, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Many of Isidore Bonheur's sculptures were cast by his brother-in-law Hippolyte Peyrol, who did not stamp all of his castings but the ones that are stamped bring more money - double or more. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: Isidore Jules Bonheur (French, 1827-1901) Horse and Jockey, nd bronze, on a marble plinth signed to the base 32-1/2 inches tall; approximately 36 inches long CONDITION: This statue appears to be in good condition PROVENANCE: Inherited $1,000-1,500* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
