Early Design/Prototype MCM Abstract C.Jere Wall Art

59" x 28" x 7" (LxWxD). Signed C. Jere. Appears to be made of a combination of brass, bronze, and copper with various colors of enamel brushed throughout. Looks and feels old. Solidly made and heavy. I've never been able to find anything similar from C.Jere online.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a C.Jere wallart piece in abstract design, consisting of various patinated metals. Curtis (Kurt) Freiler and Jerry Fels founded the company in 1963 and sold this high end mass produced art through artisan house. Hundreds of talented artisans worked for the company, some designs are more desirable than others today. Currently round shaped wall art sells for up to 4000 USD. This, sometimes called "brutalist art", piece should currently sell in the price range listed. Prices in mid century modern galleries can be higher and vary.
