Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a British Land Pattern Musket, or "Brown Bess" gun from the 1700s. This particular piece is largely intact, but in distressed condition. There is significant corrosion present on the metal surfaces, and active rust on the lock. It is also missing the forward lock screw. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 325-350 dollars.
