Would you mind uploading one more image of the hallmark please. The 805 pattern is seen on Gorham's work but unless I am mistaken this lacks Gorham's hallmarks so before I give you an estimate, please allow me to research the hallmark. I'd like to know if any of the other pieces is impressed more clearly?

Bullseye! Your service was made by William B. Durgin Co. (who later merged with Gorham, hence the corresponding pattern number with Gorham) for Spaulding & Co. who sold it via one of their showrooms.
Based on your weights, the current service is 293.13oz, this would place the melt value at just over $4000USD, but... we wouldn't want to melt something so beautiful that was sold via Spaulding & Co. and the Silver Vaults so in looking at similar services which have been sold via auction on the basis of pattern and workmanship rather than weight, you could expect this service to sell in the range of $7000USD to $9500USD.

Erin-Marie, the marks on each piece are the same: "805", "Spaulding & Co", "Sterling" and the hallmark. I have attached 3 new images of the hallmark on the tray. Hopefully one of them is clear enough for your research.
