Presumably not genuine

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal and the additional photos, the netsuke in you possession appears to be a cast resin reproduction of the 1960s or later after a japanese lucky god netsuke of the late 19th century, marked 玉民. There are no visible Schreger lines, therefore it can´t be ivory and I would rule out tagua nut or bone. The "fracture line" along the nose is from the cast. Such imitations are still available on the Phillipines and on the net. Such imitations sell for less than 50 USD, but basically they are a fake I am afraid to say.
