A painting has been found at aunties place. It has damage and super bad repair in a cordner (looks like a shotgun hole).
Aunt has probably bought it right after WWII, when Germans fled Memel and regions prior Red army came to it.

Dear Vita Jasaite – Your family has a European folk art or naive painting; the artist was not a professional, but they had a lovely hand. I cannot find a record of “La Peter” being offered on the secondary market so the painting must be assessed on its decorative qualities and condition.
As you pointed out this piece has a bit of damage and this will affect the value because the repair could easily be in the $100USD and up range. As a decorative piece, I’d expect it to sell in the range of $25-$35USD and likely under $100USD in a gallery setting.
